Abstract

The primary goal of this research was to discover how college lecturers felt about the classroom management strategies they used. This was a quantitative investigation. The study's objectives were to investigate college teachers' perceptions of physical and psychological practises for maintaining a positive classroom environment, to determine whether there was a link between teacher experience, age, and qualification and classroom management methodologies, and to compare male and female college teachers' perspectives on classroom management strategies. A self-created questionnaire was used to collect data from 60 instructors. The researcher utilised the SPSS 20 version to analyse the data, and the T-test, mean score, standard deviation, and percentage were the statistics employed. According to the findings, college teachers have an above-average level of observance when it comes to lesson planning, conversation, physical resources, handling student behaviour, time management, and teaching methodology and professional effective teaching, and an average standard of observance when it comes to teaching method of analysis and skilled teaching techniques. While organising workshops, training, and seminars for college professors, it is suggested that some of the deficiencies connected to teaching technique and skills be addressed.
